Those that know me, know that I rarely say anything negative about the Australian Labor Party. I am a devout and loyal supporter, a paid member – some may say I drank the Socialist Kool Aid. However today on hearing the news that yet another car manufacturer will be closing their doors permanently here in Victoria (Toyota), it is time I shouted from the rooftops my discontent with my Party.
Mr Bill Shorten, you have always been a champion of the little guy, a brilliant Union negotiator and an Industrial Relations expert. However on this issue you have let the worker down. You are invisible.
Now I do not know if mainstream Murdoch media are just plain refusing to print anything from the Labor party or if in fact you are playing dead. It is time as our “elected” leader for you to get out of your office and be seen to be seen and speak to be heard. STOP hiding Mr Shorten, come out all guns blazing, attack or die.
Abbotts government announced this week a Royal Commission into the Union movement for corruption – where are you? Oppose, Fight, dig deep, SPEAK UP!
It is time Mr Shorten to stand up to the bullies and be heard, the Australian people need a leader and at the moment I am ashamed of my Labor Party- I am ashamed and embarrassed to say I am a member of this pussy foot Party that are playing patsy to a bully government that is hell bent on destroying this country from the inside out.
March in March – let’s see what numbers we can get at all the rallies around the country.
